In 2021, the art award "#ensemble-1 - Pandemic Voices and Views" was announced by the non-profit organization SABAA.education (www.sabaa.education) and the online-gallery kukutana (www.kukutana.net).
From the award-winning works and works worth mentioning, a jury of African and German artists* curated the online exhibition "anders & gleich". This was available to view online at the beginning of 2022 and is now being made available online again to mark Panafestberlin 2022:

The experiences made in African countries, by African communities, families, people in 2020 and 2021 with the outbreak of the Covid-19-Pandemic were (not) different from the ones made here in Germany: anders & gleich | different &
similar. Even if the pandemic has become part of everyday life, we hardly notice the masks anymore and have gotten used to many things, a look back makes it clear what has changed.
