Isaac Muntu 621

Umuhire a.k.a Muntu621 is a multi-disciplinary artist known for his studio practice to his prolific murals on the streets of Kigali and other corners of the world, under “INSIKA ZIVUGA” means “TALKING WALLS” in Kinyarwanda (a street art movement that aims at taking art out of the gallery). His love for Hip Hop and quest to bring art to the common person lead him to join Take Back The Mic Africa in 2020, and the flag-bearer did not disappoint when He won the Fan-Favorite award.

He has been able to touch ground. He explores the old and the new, the far and the near, the different and the familiar and strives to link this to his search for true identity which is HUMAN.
