By Wikipedia's definition, Pan-Africanism is a worldwide movement that aims to encourage and strengthen bonds of solidarity between all indigenous and diaspora ethnic groups of African descent.
 
But what does it mean to us?
 
Panafrican festival Berlin wants to showcase the huge diversity of the continent as strength. The idea is to break clichés and stereotypes about Africans. The initiative intends giving a platform to the current society from the continent and diaspora, going beyond pure folklore and mass market entertainment.
